Mumbai, ensuring adherence to high educational standards and guidelines with intake of 30.Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.Civil engineering is responsible for the structural design, construction, and integrity of buildings, bridges, and buildings of industrial facilities. It also encompasses the design of means of safe disposal of waste, liquids, and gases, preserving the quality of water, air, and the environment.Civil engineers create, improve and protect the environment in which we live. They plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems.
The Civil Engineering Department, established in 2011, has been committed to excellence in technical education and skill development.
