Branch Change / Institution Transfer Rules
(For Private Unaided Institution)

1. Change of Branch / Course within the Institution

A candidate who has successfully completed the First Year of Diploma studies may be permitted to change the branch or course within the same institution, subject to seat availability.
Such changes shall be allowed strictly on the basis of merit, considering the aggregate marks obtained in the First Year or both Semesters together.
The Principal shall verify the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) before approval.
A list of all approved branch changes shall be maintained by the institution and communicated to the Admissions Regulating Authority (ARA).

No transfer is allowed from Private Unaided to Government or Government-Aided Institutions.
Students from Government or Government-Aided Institutions may transfer to Private Unaided Institutions following due procedure.
No transfer to or from Autonomous Institutions.
Candidates admitted under Supernumerary Quota (e.g., TFWS, PMSSS) are ineligible for branch or institution change.
If results are not declared before the transfer process, the candidate forfeits their claim.

Applications for change or transfer must be forwarded through the Principal of the current institution.
The institute shall maintain a record of all approved transfers and branch changes.
The Principal/Director shall ensure compliance with all MSBTE and ARA regulations.
The decision of ARA and MSBTE shall be final and binding.
